In 2022, I wrote an email to a friend…a creative friend who is a talented photographer, inspiring artist, and the kind of go-getter that always encouraged me to take on bold, ambitious things.

My email was short and sweet: Dear Maggie, I wrote a flash fiction story that’s quite the wild ride. Do you think it would make for a great short film?

Two years later…we have a short film: THAT OLD BEAUTIFUL LOVE (penned and directed by Maggie Meiners; executive produced by me). As we move through post-production, we are so pleased to share the trailer, and look back on this experience knowing that we had an absurdly ambitious idea and actually followed through on it…scraping together schedules and budgets, networking, bringing in an amazing cast and crew, Googling all the things we didn’t know, trying something just to see what happened, and overall creating a revelatory movie with an important message.
