(free streaming for your happy viewing)
Writing a story and finding a way for it to become a movie is not a short process…however, it is a very, very happy one. Imagine Christmas Eve nervous energy unfolding over two years.
Yes, two years. Two years was how long it took for a pitch email to be sent and to be turned into something that was eventually shown on the big screen. THAT OLD BEAUTIFUL LOVE is a representation of grit and guts- me and Director Maggie Meiners basically googled our way through the process, unafraid to learn in real time. I’m so glad we did, and I’m so dang grateful for the cast and crew we convinced to come along with us.
We conclude our festival run with eight nominations and selections and it makes us want to slap the biggest high-five. For your viewing pleasure, enjoy all 7 1/2 minutes of THAT OLD BEAUTIFUL LOVE in which a birthday party becomes more cringe than cheer when a grandfather humiliates his granddaughter and her body.
Stay tuned…new film news coming next week.
