Getting in to the Midwest Film Festival

This mighty little short film is on the move!

THAT OLD BEAUTIFUL LOVE will premiere in mid-May at the Midwest Film Festival at Chicago Cultural Center. And we are in such amazing company!

The line up of short film screenings:

Congrats to these directors, writers, and creators and to all of the casts and crews that put their magic together to bring awe to the big screen.

*It’s not lost on me that a few years ago, after THAT OLD BEAUTIFUL LOVE got published, I was so bummed to think that’s all there was. I desperately longed to find a way to keep this story captivating and relevant (and often joke that I would have painted it in a mural had I not gone the film route). Enter director Maggie Meiners, who weaved stunning visual storytelling. It’s been a process that we have passionately Googled our way through, constantly networking and collaborating, all the while feeling equal parts thrilled and terrified.
