When I was 18-years-old I was on a flight home from Mexico when I looked out my airplane window and saw the engine explode…
This is an excerpt from my NONFICTION story that I will be performing at The Writers Theatre in Glencoe on Tuesday, Nov. 19th. Storytellers get up and perform 5-7 minute pieces, and the entire show runs from 7pm-8pm (yes, similar to The Moth).
Reasons to come to the show:
1. You get to hear the rest of my insane-and-true story 😉
2. We need a little creative magic right about now.
3. The theatre is a stunningly beautiful venue.
4. It’s a pay-what-you-can event with a suggested ticket of $10
Details, tickets, and registration could be found here. Please come! Say hi! See how I do with a high-five or awkward small talk! It will be tremendous fun in a world that feels a bit askew.
